Plaza Midwood/Elizabeth/Commonwealth/Chantilly Area to South Park Area

Routes
South on Pecan across Central, under Independence, over the RR, then left on 9th St.
Road turns right and becomes Clarise Ave.
Left on 8th St.
Right on Laurel
Go through Randolph and take immediate left branch onto Colville.
Make left onto Providence and an immediate right onto Beverly.
Make first left onto Hampton Ave.
Make first right onto Malverin Rd.
Make a left onto Sharon Rd.
Make first right onto Briarcliff.
Make first left onto E Queens Rd.
Make left onto Roswell Ave.
Make left onto Normandy Rd.
Normandy wraps around to Colony Rd –Make a left onto Colony Rd.
2 options here:
1. Quick Route: Continue on Colony (bike lanes appear soon) across Runnymeade to Roxbourough. Turn right and end at Morrison/South Park Mall.
2. Nature Route for Hybrid/touring tires or thicker: turn right onto greenway just past creek and follow to Runnymede LN. It is a little rutted out, but will be fixed after sewer pipe is placed. Go Left on Runnymeade.
Make first right onto Barclay Downs Dr.
Take this into South Park Area.

Total trip for both routes, less than 8 miles.

Another possible route to SouthPark from PM/Comm-Morn Area

I'll have to try this one. I have an alternate route that goes to CMC, and along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway till its end behind Park Road Shopping Center, then goes up to Selwyn, and take Colony from there to SouthPark. I have the route plotted at Just do a search for Charlotte, NC, and you'll see it on the list of routes. When you get to it, be sure to look at the elevation chart to get a feel for elevation changes.
