Equipment
I would appreciate it if folks would be willing share their experience with bike lights: the good, the bad, and the in-between. In particular, I would be interested in knowing the following:
- Brand & Model
- Function (e.g., headlamp, tail light, etc.)
- Light Type (e.g., LED, HID, etc.)
- Power Type (e.g., AA batteries, rechargeable Li ion, generator, etc.)
- Mounting Type (e.g., handlebar, helmet, etc.)
- Approximate Cost
- How long used (e.g., new, 1 month, 6 months, 2 years, etc.) Please also include whether you are still using, and if not, why.
- Visibility/Brightness (in addition to any general assessments, such as "good" or "poor", please provide any details that others might find useful)

Equipment
Would appreciate knowing what lights folks are using (front and back), and what your experience has been. Could you please provide the manufacturer & model, if possible, and approximate cost?
Thanks!

Widely used bike lock can be picked with a ballpoint pen
- THEO EMERY, Associated Press Writer

You don't have to be the Man of Steel to open a Kryptonite bike lock.
Faster than a speeding bullet, word is spreading across the Internet, through cyclist hangouts and into bike shops that all it takes to open a circular-key lock, like the one on the famous U-shaped Kryptonite-brand lock, is a ballpoint pen.
The U-shaped Kryptonite -- consisting of a steel curve with a locking horizontal bar -- is a must-have among serious bicyclists. It can cost more than $50, and for an extra $10 to $20, it comes with a guarantee that says the company will pay customers more than $1,000 if product failure results in the theft of a bicycle.

Just curious to know what folks wear when bike commuting in the rain. What works and what doesn't, etc.
